About Dr. Stier
Dr. Stier is an adult psychiatrist with expertise in both psychopharmacology and psychotherapy. Originally from Illinois, she earned her medical degree from Rosalind Franklin University and completed her psychiatry residency training at the University of Chicago.
As a general psychiatrist, Dr. Stier has experience working with a wide range of psychiatric disorders and with patients from diverse cultural backgrounds. Her clinical interests include mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, mindfulness, relationship troubles, and nutritional psychiatry.
Dr. Stier is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and holds medical licenses in the states of Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin.
Care Philosophy
Dr. Stier believes in providing compassionate and integrative care to her patients by utilizing lifestyle modification, psychotherapy, and psychiatric medication when necessary. She considers all aspects of a patient’s life and works with everyone individually to develop a unique treatment plan for them.
